Welcome to the official digital platform of AEP International Limited. By accessing our website, utilizing our technical hubs, downloading engineering CAD specs, or requesting Producer Statements (PS1), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials published or otherwise accessible through this website, including but not limited to CAD drawings, technical specification sheets, product brochures, window/door profile shapes, curtain wall engineering guides, and photographs are the exclusive intellectual property of AEP International Limited. These materials are protected under New Zealand and international copyright laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to download and utilize our technical specification documents solely for the purpose of specifying AEP International systems in New Zealand building designs, commercial facade developments, or private architectural commissions.
2. TECHNICAL DRAWINGS & SPECIFICATIONS HUB
AEP International Limited works diligently to ensure that the technical drawings (PDF/DWG format) and specification charts provided in our Specs Hub are accurate and fully compliant with NZS 4211, NZS 3604, and corresponding NZBC parameters. However:
- All technical representations are provided for general architectural and engineering guidance.
- It is the professional responsibility of the specifying architect, facade engineer, or structural designer to verify that a selected system is suitable for the project-specific wind zone, seismic limits, boundary exposures, and structural spans.
- Bespoke configurations or boundary limits exceeding standard extra-high wind zone guidelines require direct collaboration with our in-house engineering team to arrange specialized engineering reviews.
3. COMPLIANCE & PRODUCER STATEMENTS (PS1)
Any PS1 (Producer Statement Design) support requested via our digital portals is provided as a formal technical compliance representation for building consents. You agree that:
- Producer Statements are issued on a project-by-project basis, calculated strictly based on the site-specific wind pressures, structural dimensions, and glazed weight margins provided by your team.
- Any unauthorized alteration, copying, or re-assignment of issued PS1 documentation to different physical land parcels or separate architectural projects is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of copyright and building licensing codes.
4. PRODUCT PERFORMANCE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, AEP International Limited shall not be held liable for structural failures, delays, or code compliance consent issues arising from:
- Incorrect installation methods that deviate from our official shop drawings, E2/AS1 standard acceptable solutions, and technical manuals.
- Incorrect site dimensions, building seismic deflection clearances, or wind pressure assessments provided by third-party surveyors or developers.
- Integration of third-party framing elements, glues, or glazing units not officially tested or certified as an approved AEP system component.
5. GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions, and your use of our digital platform and technical services, are governed exclusively by the laws of New Zealand. Any legal actions or consenting disputes arising in connection with AEP International systems or services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Auckland, New Zealand.
6. TERMINATION OF HUB ACCESS
AEP International Limited reserves the absolute right, without prior warning or liability, to suspend or terminate your access to our Specs Hub and compliance portal if we detect any unauthorized distribution of proprietary extrusion files, or any activity that breaches these Terms & Conditions.
